Using curves to add to a part

Hi,
I've got this part (wire bender) that I'd like to beef up a bit. I've got some mirrored bridging curves, and I'd like to fill in the space between those curves and the tube that projects out the side. I've tried adding surfaces, extruding, etc. and can't get it to work. Can anyone help me out?

Thank you!
