Hi, trying to create a C-shaped channel along a curve , and getting "could not create valid swept body"
The preview looks good actually, could not find the problem
any help will be appreciated . link below

The problem will most likely be the sweep path, resulting in some self-intersecting geometry. I think the curve might just be too tight for the sweep profile.
Check my screenshots for where I think the issue lies.
Hope this helps. Cheers
I winder if sub-dividing the path into smaller segments will eventually make the overlapping segments small enough that the algorithm accepts it? why won't the algorithm allow overlapping parts to just be joined into a single volume?
I will try a different approach, doing more of the work in Inkscape instead of Onshape (maybe giving the path a thickness and extruding it , then using a shell command to create a channel)
