Rib to round surface

mario_rauchfußmario_rauchfuß Member Posts: 7
Hello, I would like to create a rib.
This should end at the two round surfaces.
Unfortunately the rib doesn't work if I draw the profile right up to the edges.
See the picture.

Currently the rib feature will not solve for that case. You would need to create an extrusion and then use something like loft or boundary surface to connect the two curved edges. Then split or extrude remove.

The simplest answer would be to move the red line inboard slightly, and not bring the rib out to the curved edges ( if this is feasible) - then fillet remaining edges to give nice looking appearance. From a strength standpoint, I think you would still have about 100% of the strength even with the slightly diminished size ( and be much easier to model ).

Thank you very much for the answers.
    I've managed it now.
Not perfect, but enough for now.
