How do I import files as solid objects.

sam_williams238sam_williams238 Member Posts: 2
I am having difficulties importing files into onshape, as they come out as meshes, as linked below. Is there a certain file type that could be used to fix this? I wish for it to come out properly.

What type of file are you trying to import?

If your source file is a mesh, you'll get a mesh. For some formats, you can check the option to combine all faces into a solid in the import dialogue. That will of course require there be faces in the source file.
