How to fill holes at the side of an extrusion

Hello,
I am looking for a smart way to fill these holes from unwanted extrusion from the isogrid feature script:
Of course, I can draw another rectangle at the side and just add-extrude that again.
But I am sure there is a better way that I just don't know.

Thank you
