Whats the correct workflow for modular parts from seperate models

HI HI.
I am new here with Onshape and trying to figure out a proper workflow when designing parts that are modular and will be used in multiple assemblies.

As an example. I am developing mountain bikes.

I have parts that will be used across a wide range of different bikes. Examples are, bearings, Handle grips, Cranks etc
Should i design all these parts in a part studio or should all these parts be in their own part studio?

Traditionally i would make these separate parts in Solidworks and then i would pull these into an assembly and they would then create relations to make the parts parametric.

Essentially what i want to do is to create a library of parts that can then build up different lines of Mountain bikes and the parts will be parametric and make changes in all new assemblies or related parts.

Appreciate any help or direction on this.

Thank you

Any parts reusable across assemblies can be in their own 'document' to make them easy to keep track of and clean. Also study "CONFIGURATIONS" to make things like bearing assemblies and handles.
Individual mountain bike designs would want to be in separate documents.
Iterations of the same design with different sizes can be contained in one document using configurations.
