reduce internal diameter of pipe while keeping external diameter

Hi im new to this and been haunted for days trying to figure it out aswell as watch hours of videos to attempt this but cant for the life of me hence why im hoping you guys can help
as you can see from the pics ive attached im creating a 1" twin inlet water jet with a 2" suction pipe and currently i cant reduce the internal diameter of the 1" inlet pipe to 1/2" where it terminates the 2" (where highlighted) effectively im trying to loft the internal of the pipe down. any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks
