Is there a way of setting default units for new users added to Onshape Edu Enterprise
Hi,
We're currently in a trial of onshape edu enterprise. We're a UK school, so our units are mm, Kg, etc. not feet and inches & lbs as per US.
Using test student accounts, if I invite a student (then sign in as my test student), I see they get the default 'settings walkthrough' where everything is defaulted to feet and inches, as per a normal education or private account.
I was hoping enterprise edu might offer more control.
As you will appreciate, most kids just click 'next... next' without reading (or understanding) why they need to change the units.
From an idiot proofing point of view it would be really nice to change the default offering to metric as an admin, so it's just 'correct' by default. Is there anyway of doing this in edu enterprise I'm missing?
I appreciate they can be changed later on a per user basis, or at the first time they sign in, but kids are a nightmare. Even with a recorded YouTube video walkthrough of the process for their first project and me explaining with much emphasis at the start of a lesson, I'd say 1/4 of my class still just skipped through this bit and I had to adjust the units later... It all adds up to lost hours of teaching, particularly across 5 teachers and hundreds of kids.
