Hi all,
I spent a bit of time yesterday entering the material properties for structural steel from AS/NZS 1163, 3679.1, and 3678 (3679.2 - welded beams are made from plate conforming to 3678).
I made it public so you should be able to find it by searching, but here's a link to the onshape document: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/a2ad4b32d709b5c86a4cb123/w/8fbece5d7ecb0bcefec18e1d/e/5ce5a3fbce7efc16452d6e4d
Strength properties vary with cross section, so there's a pretty large number of grades in there for use in FEA. I've also included basic named Grades for when you just need to annotate the material.
Here are the relevant tables from the standards:
AS/NZS 1163 - Cold-formed structural steel hollow sections
AS 3679.1 Structural Steel - Part 1: Hot-rolled bars and sections
And finally, AS/NZS 3678 - Structural Steel - Hot-rolled Plates, Floorplates, and, Slabs
Oh, and I pulled the density, poisson's ratio, and elastic modulus from Australian manufacturer data (it's just standard data for steel).
