creating manifold
I have a question about building a car exhaust manifold. I've been trying to build manifold with using sweep option. All works pretty good except fact that curves and bends on pipes doesnt look realistic.

What I want to achieve is possibly realistic bends and curves with realistic radius. I know i could build few different bends like 30, 45 and 90 bends and assembly them together but i saw this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTdg-kKJiEs&ab_channel=WillieDustice ) and i thought i could do it thus way.
I also would like to ask if onshape can give me a list of cuts i need to finish a runner. Im new with this software, mostly doing this for my fabrication/motorsport hobby. Let me know what you think and what i can do to build better manifold. Thank you all and have a great day

Tube headers are certainly doable in On shape, but might be considered a mid-level type exercise - sounds like a perfect learning project. Good luck.

I’ve been working on a similar project and faced the same issue with unrealistic curves and bends. What helped me was using the loft feature instead of sweep for smoother transitions. Also, experimenting with different guide curves can improve the realism of the bends. Onshape does have some tools for creating cut lists, but I’m still figuring out the best way to utilize them for my projects. Your idea of combining different bend angles sounds practical too. Keep experimenting, and good luck with your manifold!
