What are the main identifies of faulty topology?

What are the main identifies of faulty topology? I would like to make a feature script to automatically highlight and then delete parts that are flagging this issue. 
I am trying to make a drawing with a composite made with a part that has faulty topology and that composite will not show up in drawings.

If you right click on drawing view, you can select "show faulty parts", which might solve your problem...

There are probably more efficient ways to do this, but here is a FeatureScript example of qFaultyTopologyParts.

In this example, the feature searches all parts or all selected parts and attempts to boolean with self. If it fails, the feature marks it as faulty and deletes it.
