Not sphere shaped lowering?

Hi *,

I need some help with a lowering into a part. Excuse my bad English, I do not know all 3D desighn related terms in English, but I will try my best. :)

I have a body, (flat, squared 5mm thick,) I need now a lowering in that body which needs to be sphere(ish) shaped but with different angels and dimensions in the two axes. So I can not create a ball and substitute it from the part. And ideas how I can create a lowering which is not perfectly round?

You see that X1|2 and Y1|2 has a different height on Z too. So I need a kind of a mesh which lays on the Y and X points. The body should direct to left when you look at my picture. I can share the doc if needed but I think that has no value. ;)

I bit background: I want to glue a 3D printed part to the back at my curved monitor to place some things on it. Tee monitor is curved on the back into Z and X. (Yes X and Y in my drawing)

Andy ideas?

Cheers, Chriss
