Drawings - Subset BOM?
Is it possible to insert a BOM into a drawing sheet that shows only the items visible on that sheet?
I'm making drawings that show the information needed at various stages of manufacture and assembly. I'm using display states to hide and show various items from the assembly depending on the stage of assembly in production. I'd like to be able to show a parametrically linked BOM on each sheet depicting an exploded view/assembly steps that only shows the parts needed at that stage of assembly; not the entire BOM. However, I'd like to keep item numbering consistent with the master BOM at the front of the drawing pack.
What's the best way to go about this? There doesn't seem to be a way to hide certain lines of the BOM on a per sheet basis?
Is the best way to do it to change tact and move the parts to subassemblies instead?

You could try using configurations instead of display states, but otherwise I don't think there's a way to do this automatically… Using sub-assemblies would help but it will only match the numbers of you use an indented BOM on the first sheet.
What I typically do is have the complete BOM on sheet one and just balloon items using numbers from the one table on the other sheets.
