Hello,
I am a new user of Onshape and just learning the ropes. I am designing some simple Birdhouses fo 3D printing and would like to apply a felt shingle or tile effect to the roof surfaces.
I have searched the forum as well as YouTube for any tutorials but have not found one so far. Would any of you be able to show how this can be done or point me to a tutorial that would help.
Than you.

https://learn.onshape.com has a lot of great "getting started" material.
If you are looking to render photo-realistic images of your bird houses (vs. modeling the shingles), take a look at the Render Studio tutorials.
Take advantage of the free "self paced courses" that are in the learning center. I also recommend that you go back and review them from time to time - you'd be surprised how much you pick up the 2nd or 3rd time, stuff that didn't make sense to you the first time through .
Welcome to Onshape, and good luck
