Details on CAM Studio vs CS Advanced?
Been looking forward to the CAM Studio for a while, as it's the remaining part of my current workflow that requires involving other software packages. Recently stumbled on the updated-since-I-last-saw-it CAM Studio landing page and noticed that there's now a partition between CAM Studio and CAM Studio Advanced. Am I correct in surmising that the former is targeted at personal/free use, and the latter for enterprise/license use? I'm particularly curious what 3D machining features will be exposed in "Basic 3-axis" vs "Advanced 3-axis". Seeing as 3+2 is called out in a separate row in the table, I can't think of many (any?) 3D toolpath types that sit between 2.5 and 3+2 that would be cleanly separable, aside from possibly turntable toolpaths (2.5+1, if you like)…? Any insight or clarity there?
