Having issues with importing STEP files with colors. Random colors are assigned to parts.

Hi,
I'm trying to upload the following STEP file downloaded from the ratrig website for the Vcore 4, 400, hybrid, but every time I do, despite having "Import appearances" checked, the colors are random. Here is the link to my project page with random colors.
I've opened the file in Fusion 360 without issue.
I've seen other versions of this file uploaded successfully on onshape (the 500 hybrid version linked here).
I've also had trouble with the Archetype toolhead. Here is the link to the STEP downlaod page, and here is the link to my project with random colors.
In the past, I've uploaded several dozen different step files from small, to over 150MB with no issue, but these ones are presenting a problem for me. Is there something I'm missing during my import?
