LOFT PROBLEM? DRAWING NAME FB001 PART IS BUMP + SPLIT

I want to loft along two paths, but i am having difficulty selecting the right options, can only make it work with one path - please can someone help point me or the loft in the right direction please?

    Path is singular. If you want to use more than one edge. Look for guides in the loft function.

    I'm pretty sure the sharp point on the guide is the problem. Going from a smooth to sharp corner is always going to be an issue. Either make both sharp and add a fillet after or make both smooth. There is also a "kink" in the bottom front edge that will result in a bad surface.
    However based on how different the two profiles are, you will probably need an "intermediate" profile in your loft. And/or you might be better off with using surfacing rather than solid modelling techniques for this.
    You might have better control lofting "the other way" (after adding some fillets to the profiles.:

    A boundary surface might also be a better option:

    Yes, thank you, that was very useful. I see the kink you were reffering to and can see the degree of sharpness is too great. Also the boundary surface is the way forward. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me, I really do appreciate your time and support here.
