Is there a way to set minimums and maximums in sketches that I'm missing?

I have noticed when designing linkages or anything that has motion / kinematics that I what to evaluate being able to set the maximum and/or minimum of a dimension is very useful.

You can set motion limits in assemblies, but there are no tolerances or ranges in sketches. Depending on your goals, you can sketch things in two positions. You can also use configuration variables as a way to animate or modulate a sketch.

    Thanks.

Yeah that is what I do right now; I sketch the start and end point of the linkages and then depending on what I'm designing Ill have an non-fully constrained third linkage sketch to analyze the movement.

Would you be able to share an example or a more detailed description of exactly what you mean / how to animate the sketch? You don't mean animate in the same way you do in an assembly right?
