Make sketch extrusion follow underlying curved surface
I have a model comprised of two sketches. One sketch defines an oval, which is extruded to form an oval band. The second sketch uses the flat portion of the band as the sketch plane, and defines a 'tab' that sticks up at an angle from the top of the band the top of the 'tab' extends over the curved portion of the band. I want the portion of the tab that extends over the curved portion to follow the curve of the band, even though there is no actual curved material there. Here's the public document:
Pistol Grip | Part Studio 1 (onshape.com)
And here are a couple of screenshots showing the issue:
I read about the 'wrap' command, but I don't think it will work, as there is no actual surface to wrap to. Any ideas how I might accomplish this?
TIA,
Frank

I think I get what you're trying to do. One option would be to make the Grip Sleeve extrusion taller then make the Button Cover sketch a cut rather than an extrude.
