help with the sweep function

I'm not sure why the sweep isn't working in this document. I'm trying to make a nut and bolt to 3d print as a test, and it doesn't seem to be working. Here's the link to the document:

    It seems to be working, but the cut profile you're using (the profile you sweep along the helix) is completely wrong. For standard threads you can approximate with a equilateral triangle a tad smaller than the pitch. However, this profile should be attached/constrained (and normal) to the end of the helix.

    thanks! Yeah I managed to fix the sweep but after watching that video I see that it should be an equilateral triangle.
