Does the "Lock the angle of all jogged dimensions to 45 degrees" option work?
This option is provided in the Drawings Properties, but checking the blue box seems to make no difference in the drawing. I thought checking this box would make a jogged dimension snap to 45 degrees upon placing the dimension, but it doesn't seem to work that way. Or if a dimension is already placed on the drawing, I thought checking this box would change the existing jog angle to 45 degrees, but it doesn't seem to work that way either. What is this option for, and how does it work? Am I expecting results that were not intended?
Comments
I just discovered that this option does work if dimensions are too crowded and a jog is used to space the dimensions out. I was using ordinate dimensions, but it seems this option is not intended to work for jogs in ordinate dimensions.
