CADSharp FeatureScript Course (Free Video Lessons!) 🆕
Hey all! I've been working on FeatureScript video lessons that teach you by example on the fly.
These videos assume you have zero coding experience. They are also comprehensive, so they walk you through everything you need to know in order. By the end of the course you will have the knowledge to write useful custom features to help automate your daily Onshape workflow.
They are a work in progress so expect to see more lessons soon, and happy Onshaping! 😎

CADSharp FeatureScript Video Lessons:

-
Tip 1
If you are getting into automating your Onshape workflow with FeatureScript, remember to also complete Onshape's Learning Center FS Course
Both courses have different teaching techniques and cover different topics. So it will be good to take both if you are learning FS.
-
Tip 2
FeatureScript is similar to JavaScript in many ways. If your still having trouble with the concept of coding, check out the JavaScript for Beginners video by freeCodeCamp.

Special thanks to @Konst_Sh and @Jacob_Corder for the valuable input on these lessons and the course outline.
Also thank you @Keith_Rice for sponsoring these lessons.

Outstanding work, Michael! I know that these are going to be the gold standard for Onshape FeatureScript training moving forward. Thanks to @Konst_Sh and @Jacob_Corder for their input as well.
Lessons 5, 6, and 7 are out now!
These three are a three part series that teach you how to copy and modify an Onshape standard source feature.
Note: For the more advanced FS users out there, keep in mind I've tried to keep these initial lessons simple. They are comprehensive, so we will do more complex and optimized features as the lessons continue.
