Is there a better way to insert parameters on the fly during sketch creation?
Before Onshape ive been using Fusion 360 for a week or two. When i set some parameter and was sketching ex. rectangle i could input the name of parameter directly during rectangle creation, like any number. Super intuitive.
In Onshape parameters start with hashtag. But also the same combination "Shift + 3" switches to "left view". So when i create rectangle and want to provide a parameter during its creation i have to provide some digit to enable the "editor" and then remove it and provide parameters. Super COUNTERintuitive. I can also just draft the rectangle and use "D" twice to set the size but those are additional steps which slow down the process.
Im a beginner so i assume that i don't know something obvious here. So how to do it properly?
