How would I go about creating mates for this mechanism?

Hi! I am trying to simulate this mechanical movement in Onshape for a personal project:
I made some distance until I attempted simulating both the Catch → Notch Wheel movement, as well as the Slotted Cam Movement. Is it possible to replicate this in Onshape? perhaps if you put a tiny fillet on the corners of the notches on the notch wheel, you could put a tangent mate on that.
a tangent mate would also be the way to go for the slot.
@jelte_steur814 Would it be possible if you could specify where in each part a tangent mate would work? I did try to do a tangent mate in the slot cam a few days ago but struggled quite a bit
on one of the faces of the slot, and the pin. if that doesn't work, you could add a sketch for the center of the slot to your assembly and tangent mate it to the centre of the pin.
and another one on for the pin onto the cog faces when they have fillets

You should be able to recreated the slotted CAM as well as the notch wheel with a guide curve and tangent mate.
