Can I search by material for a list of parts that use it?
For example I have a material from a supplier that has been discontinued. To be able to search for all the affected parts that need a replacement.

This only works on the condition that a custom property has been created for the material to be searched for. On the document page, you can then search for the specific property and the value, i.e. the material (number, name or similar,...). The Onshape standard material library is not supported in this search.

Thanks for the tip mfalkensteiner. So in other words, If I built my own custom material library. There's no way to query what parts each material has been applied to? I would need to define a custom property and instead include it there?
Correct
Could search by assigned material be implemented? The custom property isn't a deal breaker by any means, hell it might even be the better solution, but it would be nice to search by assigned.
