Surprised
I have been working professionally with Solidworks for about 10 years and know Solidworks very well. I changed jobs one year ago and needed a CAD software for some private project. .
Recently I tried OnShape and was pleasantly surprised by all the features. Onshape has lots of similar features as Solidworks, and it is just what I need.
I really like the much more flexible workflow with multibody parts, mate connectors and cloud storage.
I like to push the software to the limits and will test some old Solidworks models in OnShape soon.
Personally I think the screen interface is is rather dull without colored menu icons, where SolidWorks has a better look and feel.
I also lost a small piece of work, where it seemed that an unfinished sketch apparently was not saved to the cloud.
Overall I can say, OnShape is very very good CAD software.
