Pattern around a sphere?
I am currently trying to make a consistent pattern of hexagon cuts around a sphere. I am not sure how to do it. The way that I was trying involved spherical patterns, extrudes, and retracing the extrudes and subtracting. Issures with thaty were that I had one side that was linear, but another that was not. My second issue was spacing was not at all consistent in all directions from hexagon to hexagon. So if anyone knows how to do an even, symmetrical, and consistently spaced cut pattern on a sphere, please help me.

You'll need to be more specific, do you want the hexagons to be on a hexagonal "grid"? I don't know of a pattern where that would be possible on a sphere. Do you have any images of the type of pattern you're trying to achieve?
