Exporting a multi-part assembly as a single mesh with each part as a sub-mesh

Some of the export formats, like COLLADA support "sub-meshes" — that is, a single mesh with multiple sub-meshes (sometimes called elements).
But when I export an assembly as a COLLADA (dae) file and then import into Unity, each part is modeled as a separate object.
Is there any option in onshape to create a single mesh, where each part is a sub-mesh?
