Geometry doesn't update with change in composite surface

MDesignMDesign Member Posts: 142 ✭✭

I'm making a change to an existing design. I had a plane defined by 3 points to the vertices of the mesh to get the surface of a hole and protrusion. To make the change I added a transform to the mesh before the protrusion and plane. but the plane did not update. Anyone see this before and know what's going on?

Nope. No offense intended but it's probably user error (at least that'd be my first assumption if it were my model). Can you share a link?

Ha. its not user error…. although I can appreciate that thought. I created one from scratch and it works the same. Here's link to an sample project…

The transform was created after the Plane1 then moved before plane1 but plane1 did not update to the new mesh location.

Oh wow you're right. That's quirky. I don't know what's going on to make it not update (I've not worked with many meshes in Onshape yet), but it works to deselect the points in the plane feature and re-select them on the transformed mesh. I wouldn't have expected that
