Splitting Two Complext Objects
I have this large shroud I modified to accomdate 2 seperate PC fans. I have a rig I would like to attach it to and the best way to do that and avoid reprinting a whole new shroud would be to print this smaller piece and glue the larger part to it. I have no idea how to split them to make sure the smaller part has the same face as the contour of the larger part. Not sure if I am making any sense but I will attach images.

Create a splitting surface using the Offset Surface Tool set to 0 offset an then use that to split part 2

Also you could boolean subtract the larger part from the smaller. make sure to leave 'keep tools' turned on. delete the inside bit.
