I'm working with a wheel rolling on a flat surface. When I tilt the flat surface back and forth, the wheel rolls accordingly.

Now, I want to simulate the effect of a force applied at one extremity of the flat surface, expecting it to cause the surface to tilt and, consequently, the wheel to roll. However, when I attempt this in my simulation, I encounter a generic error message stating, "simulation did not converge."

Could you help me understand why the simulation is not converging and suggest potential solutions to fix this issue?

Stress Simulations are for static stress analysis only - this means no moving parts. If you need to do kinematics and collision detection you'll need to use different software.

tangentially, I wrote a statics solver for rigid bodies. But nothing is moving (hence "statics").
