Creating Curved Text on an existing .stl file
Hi, I'm a total noobie both to OnShape and 3D modeling. I've only created original simple prints (e.g. cell phone case, crank handle) in Tinkercad otherwise I modify files I've found on Thingiverse, Printables and 3dCult. I work at a small, public library in a very modest income area. Think - no budget and little time! We were donated a 3D printer and I'm teaching kids and adults basic 3D printing. I found a firefighter hat on Thingiverse but there's little room on the brim to text in the fire dept's name in curved text. Tinkercad doesn't offer the curved text feature it apparently used to have. I couldn't find screenshots of the steps of how you curve text and then apply that curved text to an existing .stl in OnShape.
I would so appreciate your thoughts re: how I can learn this skill as quickly as possible with screenshots and/or good YT videos?
Thank you kindly.

Import the STL into Onshape. Then, use Josh's awesome Custom Feature:
