How to fix a 'dangling' broken out section?

martin_kopplowmartin_kopplow Member Posts: 627 PRO

So I have this drawing with one broken out section in one view. I created it a few days ago, detailed it as usual and then - of course - made subsequent updates to the design. As usual, now 'dangling' details like dimensions and such got marked red after updating the drwaing and I fixed that by assigning new references. So far - so good.

Not so with a broken out section within one of the drawing views. It is still there, but I will need to edit it slightly (move boundary a bit and change depth) to show one of the recently added design features. Turns out I can't. The reference geometry of the broken out section is not displayed, neither in black nor red, and the depth reference in another view is also not there. This particular drawing is not overly complex, so I could recreate the whole drawing view in a matter of minutes, of course, but that is not how it is meant to be done, for the drawing could be more complex next time.

How do I get access to and edit a 'lost' broken out section?
