Fix geometry for revolute mate

Chris_BazeChris_Baze Member Posts: 2

I'm trying to set up the attached robotic arm file, but it seems that one of the pieces is not a perfect plane where it should connect. This is preventing me from putting a revolute mate in the correct location. Could I get some guidance in fixing the geometry so that I can make the connections in this robotic arm work properly?

Yeah, this face wasn't flat, so it wasn't possible to grab a good mate connector for the revolute.

One quick fix was to delete that face, create a plane, and then use Enclose to re-create the part.
