Adding a rubber seal to a box
Hello, I'm fairly new to CAD so I'm hoping there is something simple I'm missing here.
I have a box with a lid and I'd like to use a 1mm round rubber seal where the box and lid come together. I can get the seal cutout around 3 sides of the box, but when I push the extrusion on the 4th side the full length of the side, it causes the first side to move up and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I can fix it by removing the mid-point contraints on all of my sketch circles, but I thought that wasn't good practice. What am I doing wrong here in my approach?

Looks like your issue is with a mid-point constraint being used after an operation has renamed the original line. I would suggest using a sketch, and profile, to sweep subtract that profile all in one operation. This might require some different planes and sketches, but still might be easier in the long run.
Good luck
