Diagonal grid patterns on a curved surface.

Hi, does anyone know of a tutorial on how to produce the pattern seen in the attached photo? Both on a flat and curved object? Thanks in advance.

    U.nlikely there's a tutorial on this specific topic.

    Try making a small slot (for the corner), a long slot, linear pattern that last one, and then the last small slot.

    Extrude cut. linear pattern/mirror those to get the other sets of slots.

    depending on the curvature of the surface, it would be the same on a sketch more or less parralel to the general surface.

    If your curved shapes can be represented with sheet metal modeling you can get it to wrap across flat faces and cylinders by sketching your pattern on the flat sheet metal model and extruding it. Here's a very quick example. Imitate the techniques, not the modeling practices 😀
