No export in 2d (dxf)

Hi,
I don't understand why this part may not be exported as dxf but only as stl.
When I open the stl in Estlcam, the program with which I generate the GCode, I am asked if I really want to edit in 3d, as there is no need for 3d editing.
Kind regards

Select the face that you want to export to 2d DXF. right click, export as DXF/DWG
Thank you for your response.
That only works if I select only one face, but the poart contains 6!
…And I don't understand why it is exported in 3d only when there is no 3d!
maybe I'm not following what you want. I don't think onshape does 3d DXF at all. i'm not familiar with the cam software so can't comment on that. but to do multiple faces you'll have to do multiple exports. or create a drawing with the view angles you want and export that as DXF.
DXF is not 3d but 2d.
I have tried with a drawing but my result was poor and Estlcam couldn't do anything with it.
I then exported each face individually and superimposed them in Estlcam. But that didn't work because the position of the faces in Onshape was not in the right place for all faces in the dxf, which I don't understand.
What do I want to do? Generate a GCode to mill the part.
Do you have this box checked?
yes, it was checked by default
Start a new sketch, use the use command on the edges you need, export sketch as .dxf?
In the meantime I was able to create a 2d drawing correctly from the parts and export it as dxf, and was able to mill the first part, the track.
Then I made a drawing of the disk, but its diameter has shrunk from 122mm in Part Studio to only about 5mm, so the drawing was not usable
I think I have understood that it depends on which template you choose for the drawing
The method with the use command works very well, but does it also work if I want to produce a part several times and mill it from a board at once? How can I duplicate it?
This is possible with the method using a drawing.
@ProApe
If I understand right what you'll want to do is create a drawing (I would use a large template and delete everything so all you have is a clean sheet.) Then insert your part/parts making sure that you are using a 1:1 scale. This should create a usable DXF if everything can fit on the sheet.
This is exactly how I proceeded, but I had problems with the dimensions. I was finally able to mill the 3 parts of my project.
I don't know exactly which template to choose when I create a drawing.
It doesn't matter which template other than maybe metric or imperial which would be dependent on the software your importing to.. just delete all the titleblock entities then place the views that you want for DXF output.
A follow up to Wayne,
Custom template works well. Adjust sheet properties to fit around part then print as DXF at scale of one.
