Apologies - Another non-manifold conundrum

I'm trying to use boolean union to join a flat perforated disc to a set of ribs defined by a circular pattern. The problem I have is that the boolean fails on one of the ribs. I could understand it if all failed on all of them, but only one is failing. Any thoughts?

    Hey @dave_woodward078,

Can you share a link to your document so that people can have a look what is actually happening? Looking at your picture I think the issue will be that rib is aligning exactly with one of the holes underneath.

It appears that your rib is the identical thickness of the your slot width and just happens to line up perfectly with that slot.It is odd that its not flagging it on the opposing side though. with a link to your doc we could figure it out.
