Parallel, but not parallel mate?

kevin_thorpkevin_thorp Member Posts: 9 EDU

The blue box is fixed. The grey arm can rotate. I would like the red box to always remain at a 35 degree angle, relative to blue. The only way I know how to do this is to make a 35 degree wedge part, mate it to the blue box, add a parallel mate to the red box, then hide the wedge. Is there a simpler way?

Place a parallel mate but manipulate one of the mate connectors like this.

Wow, that was simple. I didn't realize we could manipulate Mate Connectors. Thanks MDesign!

When I posted that I imagined that reaction. Thanks for confirming. 😂
