Hey om trying to thread my screw

Hey! Im trying to thread my screw but i can't figure out what im doing wrong Ive watched youtube and tried to use coincident. But i couldn't got the pieces together.
The picture is from the phone but i use computer for the most part.

It would help if you shared your document. Are you trying to sweep that triangle as an add or remove? Either way, it will fail if the sweep intersects itself. Also, it's good practice for the profile and path to touch.

@carl_dahlgren - This is a basic bolt for you to look at. Use the roll-back bar in the feature tree to analyze what I've done. There are many different ways to make a bolt, here is one very simple example.
The thread form is simplified, and doesn't reflect actual bolt threads - it's just an example for teaching. Got to ask, why the ten sided bolt head?
If you are new to OnShape, I would highly recommend that you use the self-paced learning courses in the learning center (It's the button just left of the blue share button in the upper right-hand corner - looks like a head with gears). Most of the beginner courses are free - and they are a wonderful source of information for someone starting out. Take the courses over and over if you need to (I still do). We were all beginners once - keep at it.

Rick randall thank you! I will check the out the courses:) about the 10 sided bolt head ididnt reflect on that just trying to play around and learn:)
Carl - A hex head bolt is a perfect choice for practice work, mostly simple features, with a little mid-level stuff thrown in.
Note, use the actual pitch size for the helix - but make the triangular profile that you are going to sweep, smaller by a tiny bit (I used 1 thou.). This will keep you from getting the "non-manifold" errors while sweeping- ("zero thickness geometry", in this case 2 pointed edges of the sweep touching each other). CAD programs don't like this condition, and will usually fail the sweep.
As far as the ten sided bolt head, you can edit the sketch, and change the number of sides on that polygon - that's the beauty of parametric CAD (the ability to change almost everything you've done at any time. Good luck
