Using Assembly ..Insert brings up the list of parts OK but green tick box is not enabled.

This is my first attempt at using a CAD program. Decided to use Slider Mechanism by CADemist as he gives an excellent narrative.
This is first problem I have been unable to resolve.
Running on win 10 with all updates etc.

Thanks for comment will give it a go. Have "Trashed" the project and opened a new document and am starting a redraw to eliminate a few other problems and get more much required practice!.
In fact think I might have accidentally done what you suggested, as it suddenly started working and got everything operating OK. The next morning the same problem occurred again.
Will let you know how it goes as am ready to try again.

It will be disabled until you actually select a part to insert.
