How to avoid weird contours in my model

luke_diep245luke_diep245 Member Posts: 4

This is designed using lofts, which creates some weird flaws that I want to avoid. The first two pictures highlight the unwanted contours.

If a better approach delivers a similar result, I would appreciate the input!

can you share your document and link it here? hard to tell how to improve if we cannot review your current loft setup.

Its likely you'r using too many contours in the loft (less control provides better surfaces quality usually).

you probably need to model the surfaces at the nose/tip separately to model a proper transition to the sharp point.
