Cutting Bricks

thomas_madissonthomas_madisson Member Posts: 2

Hi Everyone! I have a paved area and i would like to repurpose the old bricks.

I would like them to be distributed along a curve BUT, i need them to be cut so the ends butt against eachother as per the illustration.

How would i do this in onshape so i can create a drawing showing all the angles needed per brick?

Draw your desired path. Then do an offset the width of a brick. Then draw your bricks. The longest side of each brick should be equal to the length of your brick and the shortest edge should be normal (shift+k) to your path.
