Import 3MF and STL needs cleanup, is it possible?

Hi, I'm fairly new to Onshape and I really love it. I downloaded a design from Bambu Studio's MakerWorld (https://makerworld.com/en/models/736778#profileId-668828) and I printed it successfully, but it turns out that some of my sockets don't fit the 3d printed part. Therefore I would like to import it to onshape to modify the design (onshape is so much more powerful than doing changes in Bambu Studio), like making the holes slightly larger, etc. Here's a screenshot of the model in Bambu Studio:
I used onshape's import capability to create a new design, but I'm not getting the expected results. If you see from the screenshot below the faces have diagonal lines and there are lots of Parts (about 64) that don't make sense to me.
The holes are all "faceted" and I cannot work with them as an actual circle as if I had created a circle on a sketch in onshape. I tried the different import options and none seemed to make the imported document better. So I'm wondering if there are any tricks I can employ when I'm importing the file to improve this transfer? And if not, are there any post-processing features in onshape I can use to join the faces to get back to where I was expecting it to be?
Thank you.

Onshape does not import normal geometry from mesh geometry. but "IF" your STL is water tight you can create features that will edit the STL called mixed modeling.. It appears like you've imported the 3MF file since your getting many parts instead of one. I've never tried to edit imported 3mf, so I'm not sure if that works the same way or not.
Pretty sure 3MF is just a "container" and the parts are just regular STL meshes.
You should be able to draw a circle on the top plane and use a couple diametrically opposed points of the mesh as reference to locate the center. Then you should be able use that sketch for an extrude remove of the mesh body (to make the hole larger).
Or you could look for a similar model available as STEP file instead that would allow direct editing.
Or you could even just re-draw your own part "natively" in Onshape (probably just as fast as looking around the web for an alternate!)
I don't have access to the original as STEP file(s), but I did a test import of another model's STEP file, and it imported exactly as I was expecting. So now I realize it's really all about the details in the files I'm importing.
Thank you both for your help. I think I'm going to recreate this model from scratch, it shouldn't be that hard and it will be a good learning experience.
