Editing Individual Import Parts

in General
I am currently trying to edit an imported part from SolidWorks and I need to rotate just a small portion of the part, but my issue is when I try to rotate the selected area on the part, it does not move. I have attached a photo of the selected area, I need to rotate the selected area so the part is vertical instead of horizontal.
Any advice or direction would be appreciated.

If you want to make it premanate, you will need to split the part into two, rotate the piece (via transform) you wish to rotate, and boolean it all together again. A more ideal workflow would probably be to try to get an assembly of this part to upload and then mate things together (in an assembly tab) the way they would be in real life.
Since I only see 1 part in your parts list, that tells me this is all merged together. There are two approaches I'd consider:
That was very helpful, Thank you
