How can a student make an accounts when they cannot receive email from sources outside their school

I am a science olympiad coach and would like my students to create accounts, but they cannot receive emails from outside our school email directory. So, how do they make an account and get into my classroom so they can work together to prep for the competition that Onshape sponsors?

Hi Elissa,
Great question. We are working on an email-free solution, but in the meantime, the only way to sign up for an account is with an email address. One workaround is to create dummy accounts using "plus addressing". If you create an Educator account and then add georigacyberacademy+student01@gmail.com, georigacyberacademy+student02@gmail.com, georigacyberacademy+student03@gmail.com, etc. to your Classroom, then one Gmail account will receive all of the activation emails and you can set up and manage those accounts.
