Making a new mate connector in part studio

I know this is a basic question, but I've looked through the forums and I can't seem to find an answer. I want to make a mate connector on a sketch point I drew on a face. When I use the mate connector tool in the part studio I cannot select the point I drew.
I could swear there was a video somewhere on this topic, but I can't find that either.
Any help on this would be wonderful, thanks!

coleman OS Professional Posts: 244 ✭✭✭@nathaniel_zaharia just open the mate selector tool in your part studio and CLICK on the sketch entity.
It is a little confusing because the mate selector tool does not "preview" on sketch entities like it does on the standard mate points (edges, origin center of radius etc.
Just click the point and it will work.
