Why inserted parts include every body and not just the name of the part

Side note, i dont like how i cant do certain stuff in assemblies that im used to in other programs, like easily make sketches in an assembly to adjust distance between parts

    The text displayed in the asm tree comes from the part "name". Whatever program these imported parts came from must not have had "name" populated. To fix in one place for all the parts, open up the BOM panel in the asm. Add a "name" column, if it's not already present. You can type in the proper names for each part in the table. Also while there, you can make any necessary changes to the PN and Description.
