Tag not showing in Frame dialog

Member Posts: 4

I created a sketch with a simple rectangle. I used the Tag tool to tag it. I then used the Frame tool and for 'Sketch profile' I chose the 'Current document' tab, but there's nothing there.

Frame profile needs to be in a separate element (aka part studio). Then in the part studio where you are making solid parts, select current doc and it'll show up. You don't need to use the Tag tool to make the sketch profile available to the Frame tool - just needs to be a sketch in a separate part studio.

Unrelated but still interesting: With the tag tool you can add fields to any frames created from that sketch which will show up in cutlists. You can also specify custom alignment points in the profile.
