does a CNC "compiler" DXF to g care if different parts are in different pages of the same drawing?

I used different parts to make a multipage drawing, which will be sent to the machine shop in .dxf (or whatever they ask for)
Is this a mistake?
Should every part drawing be a different tab?
If so, how do I "break up" the existing multipage drawing?

For the sake of avoiding confusion and not to create unnecessaray references between documents, I'd use one drawing tab per part, except for assemblies or mounting instructions. You can always make a publication out of several part and assembly drawings to create a comprehensive collection.
Even though drawing views can be moved to other drawings, I am not sure if it is possible to break up an existing multi-part drawing and at the same time also remove all the references created before.
